Job Description:
- The Senior HR/Admin Officer willresponsible for overseeing all Human Resources and Administrative functions of the company, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, office administration, facility management, etc.
- The role will ensureseamless daily operations and a productive work environment across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the labour laws, best practices, and organizational objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including manpower planning, job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and assimilation of new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and attendance database.
- Coordinate and monitor the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely feedback and alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory HR requirements, including NSITF, ITF, PENCOM, and PAYE.
- Drive employee relations initiatives to promote a positive work environment, conflict resolution, and effective communication across departments.
- Lead Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives, identify training needs, plan and coordinate internal/external training programs, maintain training records, and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Manage day-to-day office administration, logistics, and procurement of office supplies and service vendor contracts.
- Supervise drivers, cleaners, and support personnel to ensure efficiency in office operations.
- Coordinate travel logistics, meetings, and company events as required.
- Support implementation of HSE policies and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance (NUPRC, NIPEX, NSITF, ITF).
- Oversee facility management, including maintenance of office infrastructure, utilities, and physical workspace requirements.
- Manage third-party service providers for facility-related services, including cleaning, electrical/ technical maintenance, and office equipment servicing to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Generate periodic HR and administrative reports and provide recommendations to management on HR trends, workforce planning, employee engagement, and organizational improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years relevant experience, preferably within oil and gas or engineering.
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software applications.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and strong attention to detail.
Salary
