Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Graphic Design Intern with a foundational interest in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) to anchor the visual engine of our team in Magodo. In a specialized technical landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the clarity of the map and the precision of the layout success is defined by "Cartographic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize aesthetic design with the clinical precision required for Spatial Data Visualization, ArcGIS/QGIS Integration, and Adobe Creative Suite Execution. This role is designed for a "Visual Architect", specifically an early-career creative who can blend "Design Grit" (producing high-quality graphics) with the "Technical Agility" required to explore Geospatial Tools.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Design Governance

• Sovereignty of the Canvas: Research and implement design concepts with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Visual Clarity."

• GIS Architecture: Utilize basic knowledge of ArcGIS or QGIS to support spatial projects, providing the "Structural Foundation" for cartographic storytelling.

• Integrity Stewardship: Support the maintenance of brand standards across all design outputs, ensuring the "Source of Visual Reputation" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Software Logic

• Creative Sovereignty: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to develop high-fidelity graphics, acting as the primary "Source of Aesthetic Quality."

• Visualization Architecture: Assist in translating complex spatial data into digestible visual formats, providing the "Functional Foundation" for stakeholder engagement.

• Knowledge Stewardship: Proactively learn and apply new design and GIS techniques, maintaining the "Source of Continuous Improvement."

3. Operational Integrity & Growth Power

• Learning Sovereignty: Collaborate with senior designers and GIS specialists, acting as the primary "Source of Collaborative Growth."

• Asset Architecture: Manage and organize digital design assets and GIS files, providing the "Relational Foundation" for project-wide synergy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Software Power: Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

• Technical Power: Familiarity with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS is required.

• Experience: This is an Internship; a background in Design, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related field is a distinct advantage.

• Location: Must be able to operate from Magodo, Lagos.
