Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and diplomatically elite Government Liaison Officer to anchor the regulatory engine of our Abuja operations. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian Fintech, where operational momentum is dictated by the speed of license renewals and policy alignment, success is defined by "Regulatory Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize disruptive technology with the clinical precision required for CBN, SEC, and NITDA Engagement. This role is designed for a "Diplomatic Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Political Grit" (navigating public hearings and agency meetings) with the "Strategic Agility" required to interpret shifting legislation and advise internal stakeholders on the implications of emerging public policy.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Agency Governance
Liaison Sovereignty: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and federal agencies (CBN, SEC, NIBSS, etc.) with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Harmony."
Compliance Architecture: Coordinate all regulatory filings and license renewals, providing the "Structural Foundation" for uninterrupted fintech operations.
Integrity Stewardship: Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethics in all government interactions, ensuring the "Source of Corporate Reputation" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Intelligence Logic
Intelligence Sovereignty: Provide real-time data on political and regulatory developments, acting as the primary "Source of Business Risk Mitigation."
Briefing Architecture: Draft position papers and briefing documents for executive teams, providing the "Functional Foundation" for high-level decision-making.
Crisis Stewardship: Support the management of issues involving government stakeholders, maintaining the "Source of Operational Stability."
3. Operational Integrity & Advocacy Power
Advocacy Sovereignty: Lead efforts on policy issues relevant to the company’s mission, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Influence."
Network Architecture: Proactively build and maintain relationships with policymakers and industry associations, providing the "Relational Foundation" for strategic partnerships.

Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or Business Administration. (Master’s is an advantage).
Experience: 5+ years in government affairs, regulatory, or policy roles, specifically in Fintech, Banking, or Telecoms.
Domain Power: Deep understanding of Nigeria’s regulatory environment (CBN and SEC focus).
Network: An established, strong network within relevant federal ministries and agencies.
