Job Description:
We are looking for a pleasant and friendly Receptionist to be the face and voice of our spa. You are responsible for the vital first impression we make, whether over the phone or when a guest walks through our doors. The ideal candidate blends a warm, welcoming personality with the discipline needed to manage a busy schedule. You will be more than just a greeter; you will be a coordinator who manages bookings, promotes our premium services, and ensures every client’s journey begins with tranquility and professionalism.
Requirements:
1. Guest Relations & Experience
First Impressions: Promptly and warmly welcome clients, ensuring they feel relaxed and attended to from the moment they arrive.
Spa Concierge: Provide comprehensive tours of the spa facility, explaining our amenities and "Spa Etiquette" to new guests.
Service Promotion: Actively promote spa services and retail products to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
2. Appointment & Schedule Management
Strategic Booking: Answer telephones and manage inquiries, scheduling appointments with precision to maximize the time of our therapists.
Check-In/Out: Seamlessly check in clients for their sessions and handle the cashiering/payment process with accuracy.
Time Management: Effectively handle cancellations and reschedule appointments to ensure the daily schedule remains optimized.
3. Operations & Maintenance
Lobby Standards: Ensure the spa lobby and reception area are meticulously clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
Clerical Support: Complete essential administrative and clerical duties as assigned by management to support the wider team.
Professionalism: Maintain a polished, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude, even when working under pressure
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: A university degree is required.
Professional History: Proven experience in customer service or a similar front-desk role.
Technical Skill: Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel for reporting and record-keeping.
Core Competencies
Spa Savvy: Familiarity with spa etiquette and the wellness industry is highly preferred.
Multitasking Mastery: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple phone lines and walk-in clients simultaneously.
Autonomy: Ability to work effectively under pressure with little to no supervision.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with a "service-first" mindset
