Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, resilient, and strategic Insurance Sales Consultant to drive our client acquisition and retention efforts in Lagos. In this role, you will do more than sell policies; you will act as a trusted advisor, customizing risk management solutions that safeguard our clients' futures. Your mission is to hunt for new business through aggressive networking, develop competitive marketing strategies to outperform rivals, and provide impeccable service that turns policyholders into lifelong partners. Requirements:
1. Consultative Sales & Policy Customization
Needs-Based Advisory: Listen deeply to client concerns to architect bespoke insurance policies that meet—and surpass—their unique protection needs.
Tactful Communication: Address complex client requests and objections with professional poise and diplomatic precision.
Competitor Intelligence: Develop and execute creative marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge over other insurance firms and independent brokers.
2. Business Development & Client Acquisition
Strategic Prospecting: Actively seek out new clients by building a robust personal brand and a high-value network of prospective leads.
Clientele Cultivation: Generate and maintain a consistent pipeline of high-intent prospects through cold outreach, networking events, and referrals.
Persistence in Closing: Utilize your resilient spirit to navigate long sales cycles and convert hesitant leads into committed clients.
3. Portfolio Management & Administration
Retention Strategy: Manage the policy renewal process, ensuring high retention rates through proactive client check-ins.
Record Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, policy details, and premium payments to ensure smooth administrative operations.
Team Synergy: Collaborate with internal underwriting and administrative teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
