Job Description:

  • A Facility Officer ensures a safe, functional, and efficient work environment by overseeing building maintenance, managing assets (like vehicles, equipment), coordinating repairs/vendors, handling budgets, and enforcing health/safety standards, all to support daily operations and reduce costs.
  • Key duties involve daily inspections, utility management, contract oversight, and project coordination, requiring strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Asset & Equipment Management: Maintain records and oversee the maintenance of office assets, vehicles, and specialized equipment.
  • Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, manage, and monitor third-party service providers for repairs, cleaning, or specialized services.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor health, safety, and security policies, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage facility-related budgets, track usage (power, water), and optimize resource use to reduce operating costs.
  • Project Coordination: Manage facility-related projects, renovations, and upgrades.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Conduct inspections, report faults, and maintain records of maintenance activities.
  • Building & Grounds Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, security, proper functioning of utilities (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and upkeep of premises.

Requirements:

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 5-8 years experience.

Salary

N150,000 - N250,000 / Month.
