The organization has grown from a one location gym on Admiralty way, to a multi-location fitness center with over 2,000 subscribers.
Job Description:
- i-Fitness is currently seeking smart, hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive individuals to support the facility operations of its branches both on the Island and Mainland in Lagos.
- The ideal candidates will ensure all facilities, Facility equipments and and gym equipment are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational .
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular checks on stores, warehouses, and office spaces to identify maintenance and safety issues.
- Address repair requests promptly, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Ensure all facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are operational; coordinate repairs when needed.
- Work with external vendors for services like cleaning and pest control; ensure SLAs are met.
- Maintain compliance with health, fire, and environmental safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain fire safety equipment and coordinate periodic inspections.
- Support space planning and layout optimization for retail and office areas.
- Track and support preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment breakdowns
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Operations, or related field with 1–2 years’ experience in facility management or maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
