Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, operations, and general upkeep of our facility in Okota. In this role, you will be the point person for ensuring that our building infrastructure is safe, functional, and efficient. You will manage daily maintenance activities, coordinate with technical vendors, and ensure that our workspace or residential environment meets high operational standards. Requirements:

• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all building systems, including power, water, and security are functioning optimally.

• Maintenance Planning: Plan and supervise both preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the longevity of building infrastructure.

• Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with external contractors, artisans, and service providers (e.g., cleaning, security, electrical, plumbing) to ensure quality service delivery.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and fire safety standards.

• Budgeting & Procurement: Monitor facility-related expenses, manage procurement of maintenance materials, and ensure all activities remain within the approved budget.

• Response Management: Act as the primary contact for repairs, maintenance requests, and emergency facility issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime.

• Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate logs of maintenance activities, service contracts, and facility condition reports for management review.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Proven experience in facility management, property maintenance, or a related operational role.

• Education: Relevant academic qualification in Estate Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
