Job Description:
Ultraviolet MFB is seeking a strategic and operationally rigorous E-Business Manager to spearhead our digital transformation. In the modern banking landscape, the "branch" is now in the customer's pocket. We need a leader who can manage a complex ecosystem of mobile apps, USSD strings, POS networks, and Agency Banking hubs with 100% reliability.
Your mission is to drive digital adoption and transaction volume while ensuring our systems are impenetrable to fraud and compliant with evolving CBN regulations. You will act as the architect of our digital growth, managing fintech partnerships and optimizing our payment rails to provide a frictionless experience for our customers. If you have a proven track record of scaling digital income and managing mission-critical banking systems, we invite you to lead our electronic business division.
Requirements:
1. Digital Channel Governance & Uptime
Infrastructure Stewardship: Oversee the end-to-end operations of Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, USSD, POS, ATM, and Agency Banking platforms.
Service Availability: Maintain near-100% system uptime, proactively monitoring daily transaction flows and resolving technical bottlenecks before they impact the user.
Platform Innovation: Identify and integrate new digital solutions that simplify the user journey and enhance customer satisfaction.
2. Growth Strategy & Ecosystem Partnerships
Adoption Drive: Develop data-driven strategies to convert traditional walk-in customers into active digital users, increasing transaction frequency and non-interest income.
Fintech Liaison: Manage high-stakes relationships with payment processors, switches, and technology vendors, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
Revenue Optimization: Track digital income and operational costs to ensure the division remains a high-margin engine for the bank.
3. Security, Compliance & Support
Fraud Mitigation: Stay ahead of cyber-threat trends by implementing robust preventive controls, multi-factor authentication, and transaction monitoring systems.
Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all digital products strictly adhere to CBN guidelines, data protection laws (NDPR), and internal IT security policies.
Service Recovery: Lead the resolution of escalated complaints, specifically regarding failed transactions and chargebacks, to maintain high levels of trust.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in a senior E-Business or Digital Channels role within the Banking or Fintech sector.
Technical IQ: Deep understanding of ISO 8583 messaging, API integrations, and the Nigerian payment switching landscape (NIBSS, etc.).
Leadership: Experience supervising E-business officers and providing technical training to cross-functional teams.
Core Competencies
Systems Thinking: Ability to visualize and manage complex technical integrations.
Risk Management: Sharp focus on cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and data privacy.
Analytical IQ: Proficiency in analyzing transaction trends to drive business intelligence.
Communication: Ability to translate complex technical issues into actionable business recommendations for the Board.
