Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Customer Relations Officer to serve as the primary voice and face of our organization. In today’s competitive landscape, the quality of a customer’s experience is as important as the product itself. We need a professional who does more than "answer questions"—we need a strategist who can build lasting loyalty.
As a Customer Relations Officer, you will manage the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring that every interaction—whether via social media, phone, or in person—is seamless and professional. You will be responsible for complex issue resolution, satisfaction tracking, and providing the management team with actionable feedback to improve our services. Requirements:
1. Multi-Channel Engagement & Brand Advocacy
First-Point Resolution: Attend to customers professionally across all platforms, including phone, email, and social media, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
Service Excellence: Act as a brand custodian, upholding the organization’s image through courteous and knowledgeable interactions at every touchpoint.
Product Expertise: Provide detailed and accurate information regarding our offerings to support the sales and marketing engine.
2. Conflict Resolution & Service Recovery
Crisis Management: Handle complaints and complex issues with empathy and effectiveness, turning dissatisfied customers into brand advocates.
Follow-up Governance: Implement a rigorous post-service follow-up process to confirm satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Database Stewardship: Maintain and regularly update customer CRM databases to ensure high data integrity and personalized service.
3. Insights & Market Feedback
Voice of the Customer (VoC): Systematically gather customer feedback and translate it into insightful reports for management to guide business improvements.
Marketing Support: Proactively promote new company offerings and support loyalty campaigns during customer interactions.
Touchpoint Optimization: Constantly evaluate the customer journey to ensure a positive and frictionless experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience in customer relations, client service, or front-office management.
Tech IQ: Proficiency in CRM software, social media management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word).
Core Competencies
Emotional Intelligence: Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while managing difficult conversations.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written English skills with a high degree of persuasive ability.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot trends in customer complaints and recommend systemic solutions.
Organization: Strong multitasking skills with high attention to detail in record-keeping.
