Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Front Desk / Customer Service Officer to anchor the patient experience at our Ago, Lagos facility. In this role, you are more than a receptionist; you are a Patient Experience Associate who ensures that every visitor receives professional care from the moment they walk through the door.

Your responsibilities will bridge the gap between patient care and administrative operations—managing medical reports, coordinating with HMOs, and ensuring daily financial records are accurate. If you are a multitasking expert with excellent communication skills and a "patient-first" attitude, we want you to join our team.

Requirements:

1. Patient Hospitality & Communication

  • First Impression Leadership: Warmly welcome patients and guide them through the registration and check-in process.

  • Omnichannel Support: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone calls, WhatsApp, and email, ensuring patients have clear information regarding services.

  • Environment Stewardship: Ensure the reception area remains organized, professional, and welcoming for all visitors.

2. Medical Administration & HMO Coordination

  • Report Management: Ensure the accurate and timely dispatch of medical reports to patients or referring physicians.

  • HMO Relations: Initiate and follow up on HMO authorization requests to ensure seamless access to care for insured patients.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in line with medical ethics.

3. Financial & Operational Reporting

  • Sales Tracking: Collate and send detailed daily sales reports to management, ensuring all financial transactions are reconciled.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate potential bottlenecks in patient flow and take initiative to resolve them before they impact the patient experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 0 – 2 years of relevant experience. (Entry-level candidates with strong potential are encouraged to apply).

  • Location: Must reside within or very close to Ago, Okota, Lagos for ease of commute.

  • Education: Relevant qualifications (OND/HND/BSc) in a related field.

Core Competencies

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for professional patient interaction.

  • Multitasking: Proven ability to manage phone lines, walk-in patients, and administrative reporting simultaneously.

  • Diligence: A high level of accuracy when handling medical reports and financial data.

  • Proactivity: A "self-starter" mindset—identifying tasks that need to be done without constant supervision.

Salary

₦100,000 - ₦130,000/month
