Job Description:
Zeta Brent Education is seeking a creative, strategic, and results-oriented Social Media Manager to lead our digital content and online presence. In this role, you will be the voice and face of our brand across the digital landscape, responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, brand visibility, and high-quality lead generation. We are looking for a storyteller who can take the complexities of international education and transform them into relatable, viral, and informative content on Instagram and TikTok.
The ideal candidate strikes a perfect balance between creative production and analytical performance tracking, ensuring that every post serves our broader mission of empowering students.
Requirements:
Content Strategy & Creation
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals of student recruitment and brand authority.
Video Production: Create and edit high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) from scratch, transforming raw footage into engaging, story-driven narratives.
Copywriting: Write compelling captions and messaging that resonate with our target demographic while maintaining a consistent and professional brand voice.
Graphic Design: Utilize Canva or similar tools to produce polished visual assets that complement our video strategy.
Platform Management & Growth
Calendar Oversight: Plan and manage weekly and monthly content calendars to ensure a consistent and diverse posting schedule.
Trend Adaptation: Monitor fast-moving social media trends and creatively adapt them to the education niche to maintain relevance.
Community Engagement: Manage the "front line" of our digital presence by responding to comments and direct messages, fostering a community of prospective students and partners.
Performance & Optimization
Analytics Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, using data to optimize content for maximum reach and conversion.
Campaign Support: Support integrated marketing campaigns, physical events, and seasonal promotions through targeted digital output.
Paid Social: Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns to boost visibility and lead acquisition.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
Proven track record as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or in a similar digital role.
Demonstrated ability to create content that has achieved high engagement or viral reach.
Technical Skills:
Advanced video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.).
Expert understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms.
Proficiency in social media analytics and basic graphic design (Canva).
Core Competencies:
Storytelling: Exceptional ability to craft narratives that connect with a student audience.
Independence: Ability to manage the full content lifecycle independently while meeting strict deadlines.
Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the wider marketing team.
