About Company:
We are looking for a hands-on Community & Growth Lead to help build, grow, and nurture the Your Diaspora Hub ecosystem from the ground up.
Job Description:
Your Diaspora Hub is seeking a high-energy, hands-on Community & Growth Lead to serve as the architect of our digital ecosystem. In the diaspora space, community is more than a metric—it is a lifeline. This role is designed for a "Digital Anthropologist and Growth Hacker"—someone with 2+ years of experience who can spark a culture from zero, build a high-intent waitlist, and migrate social followers into a loyal, website-hosted "home base."
Your mission is to shape the voice, energy, and cultural fabric of the platform. You will be responsible for the entire community lifecycle: from pre-launch lead magnets and founding member recruitment to post-launch moderation and ambassador programs. If you have a "Builder Mindset" and a deep understanding of the migrant experience, we want you to lead our growth.
Requirements:
1. Pre-Launch Traction & Audience Engineering
Waitlist Governance: Design and execute aggressive campaigns to grow and manage our pre-launch waitlist, driving traffic through high-value lead magnets.
Founding Member Recruitment: Identify and onboard the first 20–50 "Founding Members"—the cultural influencers who will set the tone for the platform.
Launch Orchestration: Support the planning and execution of the official launch campaign, utilizing polls, surveys, and feedback sessions to build "hype through help."
2. Website Community Stewardship (The Home Base)
Platform Moderation: Post-launch, take full ownership of the community hosted on the Your Diaspora Hub website, ensuring it remains a safe, vibrant, and resource-rich environment.
Engagement Architecture: Design weekly discussion prompts, resource threads, and peer-to-peer networking opportunities to maximize member retention.
Ambassador Program: Identify "Community Champions" and empower them to lead sub-discussions, fostering an organic, self-sustaining ecosystem.
3. Social Media & Strategic Partnerships
Traffic Conversion: Execute a 2-platform strategy (e.g., LinkedIn & Instagram) focused on repurposing deep community insights into viral "hooks" that drive traffic back to the website.
Ecosystem Networking: Engage with diaspora organizations and migrant networks to identify high-impact collaboration opportunities and live digital events.
Growth Experiments: Develop and test referral ideas and digital growth "hacks" to expand our reach within the global migrant community.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: 2+ years in Community Management, Social Media, or Growth Marketing.
Builder Mindset: Proven track record of building or growing online communities from "Day Zero."
Technical Skills: Comfortable creating high-quality visual and video content (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Short-form Video).
Cultural Context: A basic or deep understanding of the migrant and diaspora experience is essential for authentic storytelling.
Core Competencies
Narrative Mastery: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills to shape a unique brand voice.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to track waitlist growth, email engagement, and community "stickiness" to optimize strategy.
Interpersonal Agility: Ability to onboard strangers and turn them into passionate community advocates.
