Job Description:

We are seeking a technically rigorous and project-driven Civil Engineer to join our operations in Delta. In the combined sectors of mining and real estate, success is defined by "Structural Resilience", the ability to design and manage infrastructure that withstands industrial demands while meeting the aesthetic and functional standards of modern residential development. This role is designed for a "Construction Architect", a professional with at least 3 years of experience who can blend "AutoCAD Precision" with the "Field Grit" required to oversee site inspections and CIRen-compliant execution.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Defect Project Delivery and Regulatory Excellence." You will be the primary technical steward for our construction portfolio: responsible for structural analysis, cost estimation, and the mitigation of environmental risks. If you possess "Analytical Mastery," a mandatory CIRen certification, and the ability to synchronize architects, contractors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, we want you to drive our engineering excellence.

Requirements:

1. Structural Design & Technical Orchestration

• Design Precision: Utilize AutoCAD or Revit to prepare high-fidelity technical drawings and specifications that align with Nigerian building codes and environmental standards.

• Structural Analytics: Perform detailed structural analysis to ensure all real estate developments and mining-related structures meet load-bearing and safety requirements.

• Cost Engineering: Develop accurate cost estimates and material requirements to ensure projects remain financially viable and within budget.

2. Field Governance & Quality Assurance

• CIRen Compliance: Oversee all construction activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to CIRen standards, safety regulations, and project-specific technicalities.

• Site Inspection Rigor: Conduct frequent, detailed site inspections to monitor progress, verify material quality, and ensure the project remains on its critical path.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential site hazards or construction bottlenecks and implement corrective engineering solutions in real-time.

3. Stakeholder Synergy & Project Documentation

• Collaborative Leadership: Act as the technical bridge between architects, contractors, and mining stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

• Document Stewardship: Manage the full lifecycle of project documentation, including permits, contracts, structural reports, and environmental impact assessments.

• Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior project teams and support stakeholders with data-backed engineering insights to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in civil engineering, specifically within construction or industrial infrastructure.

• Mandatory Certification: Active CIRen certification is required for this role.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.
