Job Description:
- The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and market expansion for the Payfor Power product portfolio.
- The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, developing go-to-market strategies, and building relationships with utilities, government agencies, real estate developers, commercial clients, telecom operators, and industrial customers.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Payfor Power solutions.
- Drive sales growth across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and customer database.
- Lead proposal development, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis.
Client Relationship Management:
Build strong relationships with:
- Distribution Companies (DisCos)
- Government agencies
- Real estate developers
- Commercial and industrial customers
- Telecom operators
- EPC contractors
- Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings.
Partnership & Market Expansion:
- Develop strategic partnerships with financiers, energy investors, OEMs, and project developers.
- Identify opportunities for mini-grid, embedded generation, solar hybrid, and smart metering projects.
- Support expansion into new geographic and sector markets.
Product & Strategy Support:
- Work closely with technical and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Contribute to product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Prepare business cases, forecasts, and performance reports for management.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
