Job Description:
- As Lead, Business Development Professional, you will be the driving force behind our client's commercial expansion strategy. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you'll lead revenue generation efforts, build strategic partnerships, and scale a high-performing business development function across a diverse portfolio of services.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value business opportunities across the group's diverse service verticals
- Design and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies that consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads, partnerships, and enterprise accounts
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team
- Establish clear performance metrics, accountability frameworks, and professional development pathways
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Relationship & Partnership Management:
- Cultivate and maintain C-suite relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their challenges and positioning tailored solutions
- Negotiate complex contracts and partnership agreements that deliver mutual value
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with technology, operations, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Translate client needs into actionable requirements for internal teams
- Champion the voice of the customer across the organization
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Contribute to long-term business planning and diversification strategies
Performance Reporting:
- Deliver regular, data-driven updates on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance
- Present strategic recommendations and market insights to executive leadership
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasting models
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of proven success in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably in B2B, technology, or multi-service environments
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious revenue targets
- Leadership experience managing, coaching, and scaling teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Experience within conglomerates, startups, or fast-scaling organizations
- Industry knowledge in finance, technology, real estate, agriculture, or energy sectors
- Existing network of C-level contacts and decision-makers
