Job Description:
Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL) is seeking a high-energy Business Development Executive to spearhead our sales expansion across Lagos. In the competitive FMCG dairy sector, success is defined by "Visibility and Availability." This role is designed for a "Market Hunter"—someone who can navigate the complex Lagos retail landscape, from high-end supermarkets to bustling hotels and lounges.
Your mission is to own the top-line growth within your assigned territory. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and product delivery to ensuring Shelf Offtake through strategic planogram implementation. If you have a passion for sales, a strong customer focus, and the numerical skills to manage high-volume targets, we want you to drive our brand equity.
Requirements:
1. Territory Expansion & Sales Growth
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) and the modern trade sector.
Target Governance: Consistently meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and coverage targets as defined by management.
Retainership Management: Not just a one-time sale; you will focus on building long-term client relationships to ensure consistent, repeat orders.
2. Retail Excellence & Merchandising
Planogram Execution: Implement the company’s aligned planograms in-store to ensure our products are positioned for maximum consumer visibility.
Availability Management: Ensure 100% year-round product availability across all target outlets, minimizing "Out-of-Stock" scenarios.
Brand Equity: Work with support functions to drive shelf offtake and build organizational equity through superior service and selling culture.
3. Market Intelligence & Performance Reporting
Competitive Watch: Conduct continuous market intelligence to track competitor pricing, promos, and product launches within your territory.
Data-Driven Reporting: Utilize Android devices to share real-time daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, coverage, and market trends.
Customer Feedback: Act as the "voice of the customer," relaying field insights to management to help develop new business ventures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or HND.
Experience: While BD experience isn't required, 2+ years in FMCG Sales is a significant advantage.
Tech Savvy: Proficient in using Android devices for sales tracking and reporting.
Territory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Lagos retail and HORECA geography is a major plus.
