Job Description:

Genade Homes is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Bookkeeper to anchor our financial operations. In this role, you will be the custodian of the company’s financial integrity, ensuring every property sale, operational expense, and commission payout is recorded with surgical precision. You will manage the intersection of project-based accounting (contractors and vendors) and corporate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a disciplined professional who thrives on accuracy, understands the nuances of Nigerian statutory compliance, and provides the clear data necessary for strategic management decisions.

Requirements:

1. Transactional Governance & Project Accounting

  • Daily Ledger Management: Accurately record all income and expenses, performing daily bank reconciliations to ensure the "source of truth" for project funds is always current.

  • AP/AR Excellence: Efficiently process invoices for site contractors and vendors while rigorously tracking payment schedules and balances from property buyers.

  • Asset & Liability Tracking: Maintain clear records of property inventory and company assets to support accurate balance sheet reporting.

2. Payroll & Commission Administration

  • Incentive Calculation: Verify and calculate the 7% Sales Commission for Executives upon deal closure, ensuring payouts are timely and accurate.

  • Payroll Stewardship: Manage monthly salary disbursements and ensure all statutory deductions (PAYE, Pension, etc.) are calculated and filed in accordance with Nigerian labor and tax laws.

  • Credential Management: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation, ensuring audit-readiness at all times.

3. Financial Reporting & Audit Support

  • Performance Insights: Assist in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets to provide the Board with clear visibility into project profitability.

  • Audit Readiness: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, providing well-organized documentation and clear audit trails.

  • Compliance Oversight: Monitor and ensure that all financial activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
