Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to prepare high-quality baked goods in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, creativity in presentation, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
• Decorate baked goods using icing, glazes, and other toppings.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all products.
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area and equipment.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients; report shortages.
• Assist in developing new recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet customer demand.

Requirements:

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE, OND, or HND with 2-4 years experience.
• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Creativity and passion for baking and presentation.
• Good understanding of food safety standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Relevant certification in baking or culinary arts is an added advantage.

Working Conditions:
