Princess Aurelia Consulting Ltd is seeking a high-integrity Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance department in Abuja. In the consulting and corporate services sector, the finance team is the primary engine of operational transparency. This role is designed for a "Numerical Catalyst", a focused professional with 0–2 years of experience (including NYSC) who is eager to master the mechanical and analytical rigors of corporate accounting.

You will be responsible for the foundational layers of our financial ecosystem: from processing invoices and reconciling bank statements to supporting the preparation of audit-ready financial reports. Requirements:

1. Transactional Processing & Ledger Integrity

• Accounts Management: Take ownership of the daily processing of invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring every transaction is captured accurately in the ledger.

• Reconciliation Mastery: Conduct regular bank and company account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.

• Documentation Stewardship: Maintain a meticulously organized system for all financial records, ensuring every entry is backed by valid supporting documents.

2. Financial Reporting & Budgetary Support

• Reporting Assistance: Support senior finance officers in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Expense Monitoring: Track departmental spending and assist in budget monitoring to ensure the company operates within its fiscal limits.

• Payroll Coordination: Provide administrative support for the timely and accurate processing of staff payroll and statutory deductions.

3. Compliance & Audit Readiness

• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all financial activities align with Nigerian accounting standards, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.

• Audit Support: Act as a key support during internal and external audits by retrieving files, explaining entries, and ensuring all records are accessible.

• Integrity Governance: Uphold the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: 0 – 2 years of accounting experience. Candidates currently serving or who have recently completed NYSC in a finance role are highly encouraged to apply.

• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables) and a basic understanding of modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).

Core Competencies

• Numerical Grit: Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Foundational Knowledge: A solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and general accounting principles (GAAP).
