Job Description:
- Update salary structures in line with the company’s latest compensation review.
- Ensure payroll calculations comply with Nigerian tax regulations, including PAYE and all statutory deductions.
- Set up and manage staff pension deductions in accordance with the Pension Reform Act.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submit statutory filings to tax authorities and pension fund administrators.
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and documentation.
- Track and analyse financial data from online channels and advise management on trends and risks.
- Support external audits with necessary reports and documentation.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pensions, and statutory payroll deductions.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- A professional qualification, such as ICAN or ACCA or its equivalent, is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on payroll management.
