Job Description:

  • Update salary structures in line with the company’s latest compensation review.
  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with Nigerian tax regulations, including PAYE and all statutory deductions.
  • Set up and manage staff pension deductions in accordance with the Pension Reform Act.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and submit statutory filings to tax authorities and pension fund administrators.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and documentation.
  • Track and analyse financial data from online channels and advise management on trends and risks.
  • Support external audits with necessary reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, pensions, and statutory payroll deductions.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification, such as ICAN or ACCA or its equivalent, is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on payroll management.
