Job Description:
VIJU Industries Nigeria Limited, a leader in the food and beverage sector, is seeking a high-caliber Warehouse Supervisor to join our production hub in Igbesa. As the custodian of our flagship brands—including Viju Milk, BB Star, and Mr. V Premium Water—you will be responsible for the seamless flow of finished goods and raw materials.
This is a high-stakes leadership role requiring a candidate who can manage complex inventory cycles, lead large teams of 10+ staff, and utilize modern technology to maintain VIJU’s commitment to quality and accessibility. Requirements:
1. Operational Excellence & Inventory Governance
Inbound/Outbound Oversight: Manage the end-to-end flow of raw materials and finished beverages, ensuring zero bottlenecks in the distribution of VIJU’s diverse product portfolio.
Inventory Integrity: Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure 100% accuracy between physical stock and ERP records.
Storage Optimization: Design and implement efficient shelving and stacking plans to maximize warehouse space while adhering to safety and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) standards for perishable goods.
2. Digital Systems & ERP Management
System Stewardship: Utilize ERP software and office tools to track stock levels, generate replenishment reports, and monitor warehouse performance metrics.
Data-Driven Reporting: Provide senior management with daily and weekly reports on stock movement, warehouse capacity, and potential variances.
Process Automation: Assist in implementing digital workflows to reduce manual errors and increase the speed of dispatch operations.
3. Leadership & Safety Culture
Team Mobilization: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 10+ warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
HSE Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards to maintain a zero-incident workplace in the Igbesa facility.
Product Quality Assurance: Ensure the storage environment meets international food safety standards, protecting the nutritional integrity of VIJU’s milk and yoghurt products.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: University Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage sector.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams of more than ten (10) staff members.
Tech Stack: High proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, or Oracle) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
