Job Description:

We are seeking a disciplined and detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to manage the nerve center of our FMCG operations. In the world of fast-moving goods, precision and speed are paramount. Your mission is to oversee the seamless lifecycle of products—from the receipt of raw materials to the efficient dispatch of finished goods to our customers.

You will be the primary guardian of our inventory, ensuring that every item is accounted for, stored under optimal conditions, and rotated strictly according to FIFO/FEFO principles. Requirements:

1. High-Velocity Operations & Rotation

• Inbound/Outbound Excellence: Lead the inspection, recording, and stacking of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring 100% labeling accuracy.

• Flow Optimization: Implement strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to eliminate waste and ensure product freshness.

• Logistics Synergy: Coordinate the picking and packing process to meet delivery timelines for distributors and retail partners.

2. Inventory Control & Technical Accuracy

• System Integrity: Maintain real-time accuracy in inventory systems and physical stock cards, ensuring that "system stock" always matches "floor stock."

• Audit Readiness: Conduct regular cycle counts and lead comprehensive monthly stock takes; investigate and resolve any variances or shrinkage immediately.

• Documentation Mastery: Prepare and manage critical warehouse trail documents, including GRNs (Goods Received Notes), Delivery Notes, and Waybills.

3. Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Environmental Control: Monitor storage conditions to prevent damage, moisture ingress, or premature expiry, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

• Safety Stewardship: Enforce HSE rules and ensure the correct use of warehouse equipment to maintain a zero-accident environment.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a "world-class" level of orderliness and cleanliness to support both internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations, specifically within an FMCG environment.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP/Inventory Management Systems.

Core Competencies

• Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" approach to record-keeping and stock counting.

• Time Management: Ability to prioritize urgent dispatch requests without compromising safety or accuracy.

• Communication: Strong teamwork skills to liaise effectively between Production, Sales, and Logistics.
