Job Description:

Reporting to the Vehicle Installation Team Leader, the Vehicle Installation Technician is responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

• Installing tracking devices, speed limiters, and dashcams in customer vehicles.

• Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that occur during installations.

• Assisting the Sales Team with customer inquiries and technical concerns.

• Explaining the functionality of different services to customers.

• Making quick, informed decisions on immediate actions required during incidents.

• Configuring various types of tracking devices to work seamlessly with the company’s tracking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer interactions professionally while on duty, escalating extraordinary issues as needed.

• Possess strong knowledge of both the electronic and mechanical systems of motor vehicles.

• Demonstrate excellent customer relationship, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Work effectively under pressure and in challenging environments.

• Maintain a basic understanding of tracking systems.

• Remain calm, assertive, and resourceful when assisting customers in all situations.

• Ensure the safety and security of the office, its contents, and company property.

Requirements:

• Must be young and energetic
• Must be of extremely high integrity, confident, corporate appearance and motivated for the job

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience of installing tracking devices and speed limiting devices
• Minimum post 2 years post qualification experience in BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc
• Excellent written and oral English skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
• Must be cordial with excellent communication skills
• Available to work both weekends and overnight
• Computer literate with above average IT skills
