Job Description:

About the Role
- As our Trucking Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of our transportation operations.
- You'll be responsible for overseeing our fleet, from managing drivers and planning routes to ensuring our trucks are safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
- We're looking for someone who can manage costs, develop new strategies, and help grow our client base to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day execution and coordination of all transport activities.
- Plan routes, organize schedules, and supervise drivers to ensure maximum profitability.
- Maintain a safe fleet that meets all legal requirements and conduct regular safety audits.
- Track transportation costs and find ways to optimize the service.
- Actively scout for new customers, develop the business and build strong relationships to secure repeat business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a logistics, transportation, or fleet management role.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage both a team of drivers and client relationships.
- Ability to identify and engage new clients, pitch services and negotiate contracts to grow the business
- Capacity to identify and resolve operational issues without delays.
