Job Description:
We are seeking a high-integrity and commercially astute Station Manager to oversee our retail fueling operations across multiple strategic locations. In the downstream petroleum sector, success is defined by "Operational Fluidity", the ability to harmonize high-volume fuel discharge, accurate pump metering, and customer service excellence. This role is designed for a "Site Steward" who can blend "Inventory Accountability" with the "Leadership Grit" required to manage diverse teams and maintain strict safety standards in high-traffic environments.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Loss Operations and Optimized Site Revenue." You will be the primary authority on-site: responsible for the accuracy of daily sales reports, the integrity of underground storage levels, and the enforcement of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols. If you possess "Exceptional Supervisory Skills," a commitment to transparency, and a background in retail management, we want you to drive our operational excellence.
Requirements:
1. Inventory Integrity & Loss Prevention
Stock Governance: Monitor underground fuel levels and daily discharge to ensure 100% reconciliation between physical stock and sales records.
Pump Calibration Oversight: Ensure all dispensing units are accurate and functioning optimally to prevent revenue leakage and maintain customer trust.
Leakage Detection: Implement rigorous daily dip-reading protocols to identify and mitigate environmental or technical fuel loss immediately.
2. Financial Stewardship & Reporting
Sales Reconciliation: Verify daily cash and digital transactions, ensuring all shift reports are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
Revenue Protection: Implement strict cash-handling procedures and monitor POS transaction flows to prevent internal and external shrinkage.
Performance Analysis: Prepare periodic reports for management, tracking sales volume trends and identifying opportunities for operational cost-cutting.
3. Site Leadership & Safety Governance
Workforce Management: Supervise, train, and schedule station staff (pump attendants, security, and cleaners) to maintain a high-standard service culture.
HSE Compliance: Enforce unwavering safety protocols, ensuring fire-fighting equipment is maintained and that all "no-smoking" and "engine-off" regulations are followed.
Facility Maintenance: Coordinate the repair of site infrastructure, including generators, lighting, and signage, to ensure a professional and functional environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or management role (Previous experience in the Oil & Gas downstream sector is a significant advantage).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic accounting, sales reporting, and the use of POS systems.
