TREASURY OFFICER AT SAHARA GROUP - LAGOS

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• Manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, financial risks, and treasury operations to support financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage cash flow to meet payroll, debt, and operational obligations

• Develop strategies to optimize liquidity, cash reserves, and short-term investments

• Identify and mitigate financial risks (interest rate, FX, commodity) using hedging and other instruments

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, SOX, and industry requirements

• Assist with financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning

• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions; negotiate favorable terms

• Oversee debt and investment portfolios, ensuring covenant compliance

• Coordinate daily treasury operations, including payments, cash management, and bank reconciliations

• Provide updates to management, investors, and regulatory authorities

• Improve treasury processes, systems, and controls for efficiency and transparency

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 4 years experience in treasury, cash management, or finance

• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP knowledge is a plus

• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and prioritization skills

• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder management
