Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and operationally disciplined Transport & Logistics Officer to anchor our fleet and transit activities in Ibafo, Ogun State. In the fast-moving interstate logistics sector, success is defined by "Transit Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize driver management and cargo security with the clinical precision required for loading/offloading protocols and real-time interstate follow-ups. This role is designed for a "Logistics Architect" with proven experience who can blend "Field Grit" (managing truck drivers) with the "Technical Agility" required to track goods in transit across Nigerian borders.
Requirements:
1. Fleet Orchestration & Driver Diplomacy
Driver Sovereignty: Supervise and manage truck drivers with a "Command-and-Control" approach, ensuring strict adherence to company safety standards and delivery timelines.
Transit Governance: Execute high-fidelity follow-up procedures for interstate traveling, acting as the primary "Source of Information" for vehicles moving across regional boundaries.
Behavioral Stewardship: Monitor driver conduct and vehicle handling, implementing corrective measures to ensure the brand’s professional identity is maintained on the road.
2. Cargo Integrity & Warehouse Synergy
Loading Excellence: Oversee loading and offloading operations with millimetric precision, ensuring that "Zero-Damage" protocols are followed to protect goods in transit.
Inventory Synchronization: Coordinate between the warehouse and the fleet to ensure that every dispatch is an accurate reflection of the shipping manifest.
Risk Mitigation: Identify "Friction Points" during the loading phase that could lead to transit risks, engineering solutions to secure cargo before the vehicle departs the Ibafo facility.
3. Operational Logistics & Documentation
Follow-up Architecture: Maintain a clinical log of all interstate trips, providing real-time updates on vehicle locations, fuel consumption, and estimated arrival times (ETA).
Document Fidelity: Ensure all transit permits, waybills, and driver logs are "Audit-Ready" and compliant with interstate transport regulations.
Local Accessibility: Maintain a high-velocity response time to office emergencies, facilitated by a residence in or near the Ibafo environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in truck driver management, loading/offloading oversight, and interstate transit follow-up.
Age Preference: Ideally between 27 and 35 years old, reflecting the energy and maturity required for high-stakes logistics coordination.
Location: Strict Requirement: Must reside in or around Ibafo, Ogun State, to ensure easy accessibility and rapid response to the office.
