Job Description:

The School of Enterprise Management at Ibadan Business School is seeking highly qualified Training and Research Officers to spearhead the delivery and evaluation of a nationwide online modular training programme. This multifaceted role sits at the intersection of academic excellence and data-driven impact, requiring a professional who can transition seamlessly from facilitating high-level training sessions to designing complex monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our basic, intermediate, and advanced modules deliver measurable growth for participants across Nigeria.

Requirements:

Training Delivery & Curriculum Support

• Module Development: Support the design and refinement of modular training content (Basic to Advanced levels), ensuring it meets the rigorous standards of Ibadan Business School.

• Facilitation: Lead or co-facilitate dynamic online training sessions, managing large groups of learners in a digital environment.

• Resource Creation: Develop high-quality instructional materials, including comprehensive training manuals and presentation slides.

• Learning Experience: Actively engage with participants to enhance the learning journey, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Research, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)

• Framework Design: Design and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track programme effectiveness and participant progress.

• Data Collection: Develop specialized tools for data gathering and conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments to measure programme impact.

• Continuous Improvement: Use research findings and analytics to recommend data-backed improvements to the training curriculum.

• Impact Documentation: Curate success stories and detailed case studies that highlight the programme's influence on enterprise development.

• Reporting: Support stakeholder engagement through the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and accountability documents.

Qualifications and Skills:

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration, Enterprise Development, Statistics, Development Studies, Education, or a related field.

• Domain Expertise: Strong theoretical knowledge or practical experience in Enterprise Development, Entrepreneurship, or Business Management.

• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to manage data quality and programme accountability in a research or development context.

Desired Skills (Added Advantage)

• Scale: Prior experience in managing or delivering large-scale, nationwide training programmes.

• Digital Proficiency: Hands-on knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital pedagogy.

• Impact Evaluation: Experience in development programmes with a focus on impact assessment.

• Communication: Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
