Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and commercially astute Terminal Manager to lead our passenger and courier operations. In the high-volume transport sector, success is defined by "Throughput Excellence", the ability to harmonize vehicle dispatch, passenger flow, and cargo logistics into a seamless, 24/7 engine of efficiency. This role is designed for a "Hands-on Operations Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Rigorous Safety Governance" with the "Market Diplomacy" required to drive terminal growth and passenger traffic.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Friction Operations and Maximum Revenue Velocity." You will be the primary steward of the terminal’s performance: responsible for supervising a diverse workforce of drivers and dispatchers, managing ticketing integrity, and scaling our courier logistics footprint. Requirements:

1. Fleet Dispatch & Movement Orchestration

• Dispatch Governance: Oversee the high-precision scheduling and dispatch of the fleet, ensuring 100% adherence to departure timelines and transport network synchronization.

• Baggage & Cargo Engineering: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of baggage handling and cargo loading, optimizing space and ensuring the security of all items in transit.

• Courier Logistics Leadership: Drive the efficiency of our courier services, ensuring parcel handling is fast, tracked, and integrated into the daily transport schedule to maximize revenue.

2. Resource Stewardship & Financial Oversight

• Opex Governance: Monitor and control terminal operating expenses, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively without compromising on service quality or safety.

• Facility Sovereignty: Maintain the terminal as a high-standard facility, overseeing cleanliness, security, and the overall maintenance of the physical environment.

• Staff Performance Architecture: Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team—including drivers, dispatchers, and customer service officers—fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.

3. Growth, Compliance & Customer Experience

• Traffic Acceleration: Leverage your local market network to proactively increase passenger traffic and identify new opportunities for courier revenue growth.

• Safety & Policy Compliance: Act as the guardian of transport safety regulations and internal policies, ensuring every departure meets the highest safety standards.

• Customer Success Management: Act as the final point of escalation for passenger concerns, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through professional resolution and empathy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: BSc or HND from a recognized tertiary institution.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in the passenger transport, logistics, or courier sectors.

• Network Mastery: A proven local market network capable of driving immediate increases in passenger and parcel volumes.
