Job Description:

Mshel Homes Limited is seeking a visionary and results-driven Strategy Manager to serve as a key architect of our long-term growth and competitive positioning. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the development, communication, and execution of our corporate strategy across all business lines.

Working in direct collaboration with the Managing Director and the senior leadership team, you will translate market intelligence, financial data, and stakeholder insights into actionable strategic plans. Your mission is to accelerate revenue growth, drive operational efficiency, and cement Mshel Homes’ status as a market leader within Nigeria’s dynamic real estate sector.

Requirements:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Roadmap Development: Lead the annual review and development of corporate strategies, business plans, and long-term growth roadmaps.

  • Objective Cascading: Translate the company’s high-level vision into clear departmental KPIs and strategic initiatives.

  • Performance Monitoring: Design and maintain strategic frameworks to track implementation, providing the executive team with regular progress reports and performance insights.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on Nigeria’s real estate market, focusing on housing demand, land use trends, and buyer behavior.

  • Benchmarking: Perform competitor analysis to identify areas of competitive advantage and track macroeconomic or regulatory shifts.

  • Reporting: Prepare executive-level strategy decks, feasibility assessments, and scenario planning documents for Board review.

Business Development & Growth

  • Expansion Initiatives: Evaluate new opportunities, including geographic expansion, joint ventures, and new housing products.

  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Partner with Sales and Marketing to design launch strategies for new projects.

  • Financial Modeling: Collaborate with the Finance team to model the financial implications of strategic options and investment decisions.

Innovation & Digital Transformation

  • PropTech Leadership: Champion the adoption of innovative business models and digital transformation initiatives that enhance our competitive edge.

  • Data Culture: Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Urban Planning.

    • An MBA or Master’s in Strategic Management is strongly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 6–8 years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, or corporate planning.

    • Prior experience in Real Estate or Construction is a significant advantage.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in leading strategic planning cycles and business case development.

    • Proficiency in data analysis and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel).

    • Advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for senior audiences.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Commercial Acumen: Strong big-picture orientation with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.

    • Influencing Skills: Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional teams and facilitate high-level strategy workshops.

    • Professionalism: High level of discretion in handling sensitive organizational information.
