Job Description:

We are seeking a high-integrity, physically fit Store Keeper to serve as the operational custodian of our warehouse in Lagos. In a fast-paced supply chain environment, the store keeper is the primary line of defense against inventory shrinkage, damage, and stock-outs. This role is designed for a "System-Oriented Organizer", a male professional with 1–2 years of experience who can balance the physical demands of loading/unloading with the mental rigor of precise record-keeping.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Variance Inventory." You will be responsible for the entire stock lifecycle: from inspecting incoming goods for quality and quantity to managing authorized issuance and conducting regular physical audits. If you possess an "Organized-First" mindset and the professional grit to maintain a safe, audit-ready storage environment, we want you to manage our assets.

Requirements:

1. Intake, Inspection & Vertical Storage

• Verification Excellence: Receive and inspect all incoming goods, ensuring they align perfectly with delivery notes and purchase orders in both quality and quantity.

• Strategic Arrangement: Organize, label, and store items in designated zones using a logical indexing system for rapid retrieval and optimized space utilization.

• Physical Logistics: Lead the loading, unloading, and movement of goods, ensuring that heavy items are handled safely to prevent injury or damage.

2. Inventory Custodianship & Issuance

• Authorized Disbursement: Issue materials or products only upon presentation of approved documentation, ensuring every item leaving the store is accounted for.

• Data Integrity: Maintain up-to-the-minute records of "Inward" and "Outward" stock movements, ensuring the digital/manual ledger reflects the physical reality.

• Stock Monitoring: Proactively track consumption rates and alert management to "Low Stock" levels to prevent operational downtime.

3. Audit Compliance & Loss Prevention

• Cycle Counting: Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with records, identifying and investigating any discrepancies immediately.

• Security Governance: Prevent theft, loss, or environmental damage by strictly following storage procedures and maintaining a secure facility.

• Audit Support: Serve as the primary contact for internal or external auditors, providing accurate documentation and a clean, organized environment for inspection.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc / HND / OND / NCE in any relevant field.

• Experience: 1 – 2 years of core experience in Store-keeping, Procurement, or Supply Chain.

• Gender Specification: This specific opening is for Male applicants to support the physical loading and organization requirements of the facility.

• Location: Must be resident in Lagos.
