Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Software Instructor to join our faculty in Ikorodu. This role is designed for a developer with a passion for mentorship and a deep understanding of the modern software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for shaping the next generation of tech talent by delivering hands-on training, supervising real-world projects, and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies like AI and Cloud computing.

The ideal candidate is not just a coder, but an educator who can break down complex architectural concepts into digestible lessons for aspiring developers.

Requirements:

Technical Instruction & Curriculum Delivery

• Core Programming: Teach modern programming languages and frameworks, including Python (with Flask), JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Flutter.

• Hands-on Training: Lead coding workshops and guide students through the completion of real-world projects to reinforce theoretical concepts.

• Modern Tech Stack: Incorporate cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools into the curriculum to ensure students are industry-ready.

• AI Integration: Stay current with AI tools and industry practices, introducing students to technologies like the ChatGPT API, TensorFlow, or LangChain.

Student Mentorship & Career Development

• Portfolio Building: Assist students in creating professional portfolios that showcase their technical capabilities to potential employers.

• Career Readiness: Provide guidance on interview preparation, soft skills, and navigating professional certification paths.

• Certification Guidance: Help students prepare for industry-standard exams in Python, Java, AWS, or Azure.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development or technical instruction.

  • Proficiency in web and mobile development, as well as cloud infrastructure.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong command of Python and Flask.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

  • Knowledge of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, LangChain) is a significant advantage.

• Professional Certifications: Holding certifications in AWS, Azure, or Python/Java is a strong plus.
