About Company:
LABORIA was incorporated by CAC in August 2024 through the merger of two leading companies in the IVD industry, Ikons Biomed and LabEngines. Each company brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, and together, we have created a powerhouse in the IVD sectors in Nigeria.
Job Description:
Laboria is looking for a creative, proactive, and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Executive to be the digital voice of our brand. This role is for a natural storyteller who knows how to stop the "scroll" and turn followers into advocates. You will be responsible for the end-to-end creative process—from spotting viral trends and filming short-form video content to analyzing performance data to refine our strategy. If you have a passion for audience engagement and a sharp eye for visual aesthetics, this is your opportunity to build a world-class digital presence in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
1. Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
Multichannel Execution: Develop and execute high-engagement content strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
Multimedia Production: Script, film, and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) and design visual assets that align with Laboria’s brand identity.
Copywriting: Craft compelling captions and long-form posts that maintain a consistent brand voice while driving specific audience actions.
2. Platform Management & Community Growth
Active Management: Handle daily scheduling and posting using social media management tools to ensure a consistent digital heartbeat.
Community Engagement: Act as the primary moderator, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely, professional, and "on-brand" manner.
Growth Hacking: Monitor platform trends and audience insights to identify "real-time" marketing opportunities that boost reach and virality.
3. Analytics & Collaborative Strategy
Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to monitor KPIs (Reach, Engagement Rate, Click-Through Rate) and prepare monthly performance reports.
Campaign Support: Collaborate with internal teams to provide creative support for product launches, corporate communications, and marketing campaigns.
Calendar Governance: Manage a robust content calendar that balances promotional content with value-driven storytelling.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Education
Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience managing professional social media accounts.
Portfolio: A proven track record of creating digital content that drives measurable engagement (visual or written).
Technical & Creative Skills
Design Toolkit: Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
Storytelling Mastery: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a deep understanding of audience psychology.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret social media data and translate "likes" into actionable business insights.
Execution: Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
