Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Shift Lead to anchor the manufacturing engine of our soap production facility in Aba, Abia State. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the line-relay and the precision of the quality-filter success is defined by "Production Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize the operations of over 112 personnel with the clinical precision required for Volume Target Delivery, Plant Compliance, and World-Class Quality Standards. This role is designed for an "Operational Architect" specifically a professional with 3 to 5 years of engineering experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (managing maintenance programs and machinery availability) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Budgetary Control.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Manufacturing Governance

• Sovereignty of the Shift: Coordinate manufacturing units to achieve volume targets by specific due dates, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Throughput."

• Infrastructural Architecture: Ensure maintenance programs are executed promptly to guarantee continuous machinery availability, providing the "Structural Foundation" for plant uptime.

• Integrity Stewardship: Take full responsibility for EMS compliance, reducing environmental pollution as documented in the Departmental Aspect and Impacts register.

2. Tactical Resilience & Performance Logic

• Reporting Sovereignty: Prepare high-fidelity daily production reports and forecasts to account for monthly variances, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Accountability."

• Personnel Architecture: Manage a headcount of 112+ personnel, conducting regular reviews to ensure development needs are identified and actioned.

• Safety Stewardship: Enforce rigorous Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OH&SE) standards, maintaining the "Source of Workplace Security."

3. Operational Integrity & Collaboration Power

• Relational Sovereignty: Collaborate with Process, Finishing, and QC/QA teams to deliver the weekly agreed supply plan, acting as the primary "Source of Cross-Functional Unity."

• Engineering Architecture: Utilize AutoCAD and Engineering expertise to oversee infrastructural and design details, providing the "Functional Foundation" for factory optimization.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Excellent Numerical and Scheduling skills to accelerate the "Plan-to-Product" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Customer Satisfaction."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc./B.Eng. or HND in Engineering related fields or Industrial Chemistry.

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of work experience in a similar leadership role within a large-scale manufacturing organization.

• Technical Power: Sound expertise in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Numerical IQ: Excellent analytical, numerical, and scheduling capabilities.

• Aptitude: High stress-tolerance with a "good eye" for infrastructural and engineering details.
