Job Description:

  • Join Ericsson’s Mobile Financial Services (MFS) team within the Business Fintech Unit and help drive growth, innovation, and profitability across our global fintech business.
  • You will contribute to the delivery and evolution of Ericsson Wallet Platform solutions, supporting customers in transforming digital financial services through secure, scalable, and modern technologies.
  • You will work with cross-functional teams, solution architects, business analysts, and customer stakeholders to deploy, integrate, test, and optimize MFS solutions in dynamic customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and deploy Ericsson Wallet Platform in test and customer environments
  • Integrate Ericsson Wallet Platform with internal and external systems
  • Perform white-box and black-box testing with internal and customer teams
  • Prepare and execute unit, SIT, and UAT test cases
  • Configure applications in testing and production environments
  • Prepare MOPs, SOPs, SOWs, RCA documents, and test reports
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and infrastructure issues
  • Support application patch deployment and production activities
  • Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to understand customer requirements and solution design
  • Report progress and technical updates to project managers and stakeholders
  • Support customers across different time zones, including night production activities when required
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and solution expansion within existing customer environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, or related field;
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in deployment, integration, and support of telecom or fintech solutions
  • Experience working directly with customers and supporting customer governance activities
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture
  • Awareness of technology trends such as 5G/6G, cloud transformation, API monetization, and AI/ML
  • Strong customer management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with high accountability and ownership
  • Ability to build stakeholder relations.hips and influence decision-making
  • Advanced English level (C1).

 

Technical skills required:

  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker deployments
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, HTTPS, SMPP, DIAMETER, and HTTP
  • Knowledge of XML APIs and client-server architecture
  • Experience with Oracle Database administration, including import/export, indexing, tablespace management, purging, and PL/SQL queries
  • Exposure to clustering technologies, Veritas Volume Manager, MySQL, and Perl scripting
  • Experience with Ericsson Charging Systems, CAMEL, or telecom environments is an advantage
  • Knowledge of SSL/TLS configuration and security best practices
  • Experience in Mobile Money, Mobile Wallet, Mobile Finance, or M-Commerce solutions is preferred.

 

Work location:

  • Offshore or onsite globally, depending on customer requirements.

 

Travel:

  • Travel may be required depending on business needs.
