Job Description:
- Ensure that the Company’s Governance, Risk Management, and Business Continuity Management processes are operating effectively, and aligned with approved standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework across the Company.
- Lead the annual Enterprise Risk Assessment process.
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report emerging risk trends.
- Ensure effective risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control processes.
- Provide practical and cost-effective recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Promote risk awareness through training and education across all business units.
- Conduct company-wide Risk and Control Self-Assessment and maintain a comprehensive Risk Register.
- Provide assurance on the effectiveness of risk treatments and control activities.
- Drive periodic review and update of risk management policies and procedures.
- Strengthen the Company’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and resilience framework.
- Ensure existence and maintenance of Corporate, Business Unit, and Functional BCPs.
- Coordinate periodic testing of Business Continuity Plans.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on Risk Management and Business Continuity.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and senior management on risk and compliance matters.
- Support response and recovery during major business disruptions.
Requirements:
- Have strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Be able to influence decision-making at senior management level.
- Have strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Show high level of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
- First Degree in Accounting, Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
- Professional certification in Risk Management / Business Continuity is required.
Experience
- Minimum of seven years cognate experience in Risk Management, Assurance, or Business Continuity.
- Experience working with enterprise risk frameworks and audit processes is required.
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
