Job Description:

Are you an expert in heavy-duty mechanical systems with a background in the Oil & Gas sector? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanic to join our technical team in Port Harcourt. You will be responsible for the high-level maintenance, repair, and servicing of our oilfield truck fleet and mechanical systems, ensuring peak operational efficiency and the highest safety standards in a demanding field environment.

Requirements:

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform expert-level servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on oilfield trucks and associated mechanical systems.

• System Optimization: Ensure all equipment, particularly engines and transmission systems, are maintained to maximize uptime and operational reliability.

• Specialized Fleet Care: Provide hands-on technical maintenance for specialized equipment, including Wireline (WL) and Slickline (SLK) oilfield trucks, and work with Renault truck chassis.

• System Management: Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and manage fleet maintenance schedules with accuracy.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a rigorous commitment to safety protocols and ensure all work meets industry-standard mechanical requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong experience in transmission systems and engines, specifically Perkins and Caterpillar
• Experience working with Renault truck chassis
• Evidence of relevant technical training is required
• Experience in maintenance of Wireline (WL) and Slickline (SLK) oilfield trucks
• Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and capable of working in a high-performance environment
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
