Job Description:

  • Manage accurate Tower Co site database. Ensure all details released with respect to Work Order(WO) paraments (RF/TX) (RF antenna Height, Tower Height, Antenna type, Site configurations etc.) are accurate before WO issuance.
  • Mange a correct and updated billing record of Tower providers always
  • Ensure that all changes occurring on the network in the database are tracked and updated. Ensure all approved change request, decommissioning, halted sites are reflected on the holistic release for proper site WO issuance and RFI delivery. 
  • Inter departmental Collaboration/interface with other Network Group Divisions.
  • Collate and record site ordering data for each OEM, monitor deliverables and ensure adherence to specifications per site.
  • Escalate any issues that may affect WO issuance and RFI to the GM
  • Continuously analyses RFI projections, quality of sites delivery to foresee anticipated risk that may arise throughout site project lifecycle. 
  • Collaborate with RF Planning team, Tx Planning team Radio access implementation team, Transmission Implementation team to ensure that all released sites with respect to planned Technology is aligned and achieved
  • Ensure proper accountability of PFIs and submitted invoice reflects the task carried out by each Tower Providers and DAS vendors before it submitted for PR & PO processing. 
  • Managing the process of negotiating favorable lease terms with landowners, including rent, lease duration, renewal options, and termination clauses.
  • Ensuring compliance with telecommunications laws, property rights, and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with RF Planners to align site acquisitions with overall network expansion plans.

Requirements:

  • 9 - 17 years’ experience which includes:
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project management with experience in supervising/managing others
    • Experience working on a multi-vendor network 
    • Experience working in a medium organization, preferably within the telecoms industry

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A First Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Fluent in English
