Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite SAP FICO Consultant to anchor the financial engine of our Oil & Gas operations in Port Harcourt. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the accuracy of the ledger and the precision of the cost center success is defined by "Systemic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex business needs with the clinical precision required for SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) Configuration. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" with 2–3 years of hands-on experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (troubleshooting and asset accounting) with the "Strategic Agility" required to manage compliance in upstream, midstream, or downstream environments.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Module Governance

• Configuration Sovereignty: Implement and configure SAP FI and CO modules with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Financial Architecture."

• Solution Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into high-fidelity SAP solutions, providing the "Structural Foundation" for precise financial reporting and cost control.

• Integrity Stewardship: Drive continuous system improvements and manage regulatory compliance, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Trust" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Operations Logic

• Reporting Sovereignty: Support critical month-end and year-end closing activities, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Continuity."

• Project Architecture: Manage the financial complexities of Joint Ventures and large capital projects, providing the "Functional Foundation" for industrial-scale investment tracking.

• Troubleshooting Stewardship: Provide expert technical support to resolve system abnormalities in real-time, maintaining the "Source of Operational Velocity."

3. Operational Integrity & Sector Power

• Sector Sovereignty: Utilize specialized knowledge of Oil & Gas value chains (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream), acting as the primary "Source of Domain Expertise."

• Collaboration Architecture: Work effectively across Finance, Operations, and IT teams, providing the "Relational Foundation" for cross-functional synergy.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 2–3 years of FICO experience to optimize asset accounting and cost-control workflows, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput" for Thamani Consulting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 2 – 3 years of proven, hands-on SAP FICO experience.

• Sector Edge: Deep familiarity with Upstream, Midstream, or Downstream operations is highly desirable.

• Technical Power: Expertise in Joint Ventures (JVA), Asset Accounting, and large-scale Capital Project monitoring.

• Soft Skills: Ability to navigate complex corporate structures and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
