Job Description:
Are you a seasoned sales professional with a passion for mentorship and team development? We are looking for a Sales Coach to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the performance of our sales force by providing strategic guidance, designing high-impact training modules, and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
Requirements:
Strategic Sales Mentorship: Act as a dedicated consultant, providing actionable advice to salespeople to help them navigate challenges and hit targets within the competitive Nigerian market.
Training & Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new hires and facilitate ongoing training to bridge skill gaps at both individual and team levels.
Curriculum Development: Create engaging educational materials, including professional sales scripts, insightful case studies, and dynamic presentations.
Innovative Learning: Design interactive training experiences using job simulations, role-playing activities, and gamification to keep the team motivated.
Performance Evaluation: Monitor trainee performance and gather feedback from managers and instructors to continuously refine our training programs.
L&D Management: Set annual Learning & Development (L&D) objectives and maintain organized records of all training curricula while managing program costs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Proven work history as a Sales Coach, Sales Trainer, or in a similar leadership capacity. Previous experience in direct sales or high-volume customer service is highly advantageous.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with modern e-learning platforms and hands-on experience creating multimedia training tools (e.g., video tutorials, slide decks).
Market Insight: A strong understanding of the Nigerian sales landscape and consumer behavior.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying operational challenges and implementing effective training solutions.
