Job Description:

We are seeking a methodical and proactive Sales Administrative Officer to join our team in Agbor, Delta State. This is a full-time role designed for a "Data Guardian"—someone who understands that accurate record-keeping is the backbone of a successful sales operation.

Your mission is to ensure that every transaction is captured correctly and every customer is followed up with professionally. You will be the central point for sales documentation, moving raw data into organized reports that help the business grow. If you are computer literate, highly organized, and have a knack for details, we want you to support our sales team.

Requirements:

1. Sales Documentation & Data Entry

  • Transaction Recording: Accurately log daily sales and financial transactions into the company system.

  • Record Integrity: Maintain a "Zero-Error" filing system for all sales invoices, receipts, and customer documents.

  • System Management: Utilize computer applications to ensure all digital records are up-to-date and easily retrievable.

2. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Basic Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports that summarize total revenue and unit sales.

  • Inventory Awareness: Assist in cross-checking sales records against stock levels to ensure data consistency.

  • Administrative Support: Support the sales team by managing schedules and organizing sales materials.

3. Customer Relations & Follow-up

  • Inquiry Management: Assist the sales team by responding to basic customer inquiries and providing information on products or services.

  • After-Sales Support: Conduct follow-up calls or messages to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

  • Communication: Maintain professional correspondence with clients via phone, email, or in-person interactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Literacy: Must be fully literate (exceptional reading and writing skills in English).

  • Technical Skill: Must be proficient in operating a computer system (experience with MS Excel or Word is a strong advantage).

  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with basic sales documentation like invoices, receipts, and ledgers.

Core Competencies

  • Organization: Strong ability to manage multiple records without losing track of details.

  • Communication: Clear and polite verbal and written communication skills.

  • Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time in Agbor.
