Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Safety Manager to anchor the protection engine of our mining and factory operations in Nasarawa. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the intervention and the precision of the risk assessment success is defined by "Systemic Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-risk physical operations with the clinical precision required for Policy Implementation, Accident Investigation, and International Safety Compliance. This role is designed for a "Risk Architect", specifically a professional with at least 2 years of experience in mining or industrial environments who can blend "Site Grit" (conducting regular field inspections and PPE monitoring) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Safety Audits and Regulatory Liaison.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Policy Governance

• Sovereignty of the Policy: Develop and monitor health and safety procedures with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Operational Safety Standards."

• Audit Architecture: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, providing the "Structural Foundation" for a hazard-free work environment.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with local and international safety regulations, ensuring the "Source of Regulatory Fidelity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Incident Logic

• Investigative Sovereignty: Lead accident and incident investigations to identify root causes, acting as the primary "Source of Corrective Action."

• Mitigation Architecture: Monitor the rigorous use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and minimize workplace risks, providing the "Functional Foundation" for physical site security.

• Knowledge Stewardship: Organize safety training and awareness programs, maintaining the "Source of Staff Competency."

3. Operational Integrity & Liaison Power

• Liaison Sovereignty: Act as the primary contact for regulatory authorities on compliance matters, acting as the primary "Source of External Accountability."

• Reporting Architecture: Maintain high-fidelity safety records and prepare detailed management reports, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-driven safety decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a mining or industrial environment.

• Technical Power: Strong knowledge of safety regulations and risk management frameworks.

• Certification: Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a significant advantage.

• Location: Nasarawa (Mining Site/Factory).
