Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Reservoir Engineer to anchor the subsurface engine of our Division. In the specialized landscape of modern energy extraction, success is defined by "Subsurface Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize geological complexity with the clinical precision required for Reservoir Simulation, Production Forecasting, and Field Development Planning (FDP). This role is designed for a "Yield Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (mastering ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, and Python) with the "Operational Agility" required to provide real-time support for incident recovery and job design.
Requirements:
1. Simulation Orchestration & Field Governance
Predictive Sovereignty: Lead reservoir simulation and production forecasting with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Subsurface Prediction."
Development Architecture: Design and optimize Field Development Plans (FDP), providing the "Structural Foundation" for long-term asset value.
Technology Stewardship: Actively promote new technology and services, ensuring the "Source of Innovative Recovery" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Operations Logic
Technical Sovereignty: Provide real-time support to operations groups, acting as the primary "Source of Incident Response and Recovery."
Design Architecture: Consult with Technical Engineers to optimize job designs, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for cost-effective execution.
Tender Stewardship: Evaluate the technical viability and appraisal of tenders, maintaining the "Source of Commercial Integrity."
3. Intellectual Integrity & Performance Power
Visibility Sovereignty: Maintain customer visibility through professional societies and technical publications, acting as the primary "Source of Industry Thought-Leadership."
Research Architecture: Engage with universities and research organizations, providing the "Visual Foundation" for a collaborative innovation ecosystem.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of reservoir expertise and Python-based data analytics to identify continuous improvement opportunities, maximizing the "Source of Technical Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Reservoir Engineer.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Technical Mastery: Expertise in Reservoir Simulation, FDP, and Production Forecasting.
Software Power: Familiarity with Petrel, ECLIPSE, and INTERSECT (Python development is an added advantage).
Core Competencies
Subsurface Grit: Strong analytical skills in petroleum economics and advanced data analytics.
Operational Sovereignty: Ability to provide real-time support and technical job design optimization.
Communication Power: Elite ability to write, review, and present technical publications.
