Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Graduate Trainee to join our Assembly Department in Onitsha. This role is designed for a high-potential individual to gain deep technical and leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, specifically within our plastics production line. You will be tasked with supervising assembly operations, ensuring quality output, and maintaining production schedules. Requirements:

• Production Supervision: Coordinate daily assembly activities to ensure that production schedules and output targets are consistently met.

• Quality Stewardship: Conduct rigorous routine inspections of products during and after the assembly process. Identify defects early and implement corrective actions to keep rejection rates to an absolute minimum.

• Team Leadership: Assign duties, monitor the performance of assembly staff, and foster a collaborative, positive, and productive working environment.

• Operations & Logistics: Manage the proper handling and storage of finished goods to maintain inventory integrity.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate production records and provide detailed reports on daily output, challenges, and quality metrics to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or B.Sc. Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Chemistry, Production Management, or a related field.

• Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior exposure to plastics production is highly preferred.

• Essential Requirement: You must possess a valid NYSC discharge certificate.
