St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade, off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of the Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, and Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. Job Description:

Registered Nurse / Midwife

Requirements:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum
• Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations
• Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting
• Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or a related field
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse / Midwife with the relevant professional body
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
• Resident in Ibadan ( iwo road, new ife road axis).
