Job Description:

  • The key purpose of this role is to create, support and sustain a progressive learning environment by providing an effective service to the value chain.
  • Focused on the executive and delivery of people interventions leading to performance and morale improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • VPO implementation in Brewing raw materials
  • Interpret production plan to ensure raw material availability
  • Ensure stock accuracy, SAP vs actual stock on floor
  • Responsibility for SAP master data accuracy
  • Ensure ICE Control
  • Audit materials stock reconciliation
  • Provide information to production scheduler and Central Raw Materials planning as well as suppliers
  • Comply with relevant audit requirements
  • Provide information and participate in situational and systemic problem-solving as required
  • Investigate and minimize material losses
  • Assist with new material trials as the need arises
  • Team leadership
  • Manage relationship with suppliers
  • Support training and coaching needs
  • Clear VIM queries and GR/IR
  • Ensure 5S compliance
  • Ordering raw materials
  • Weekend stock counts, after hours availability
  • Compliance to ABInBev Safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of packaging materials and the packaging process would be advantageous
  • ​Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Financial inclination
  • Ability to plan and co-ordinate
  • Ability to work under pressure with concern for detail and correctness
  • High energy levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Flexible, innovative and adaptable.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ideally a relevant Degree or National Diploma
  • At least 3 years experience in a logistics or procurement environment
  • PC literacy and relevant SAP experience
