Job Description:

• Runofeeds is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented QA/QC Laboratory Assistant to support quality assurance and quality control activities within our feed production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Assist in quality control inspections and monitoring of production processes.
• Record, analyze, and maintain accurate laboratory test results and reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product quality and report any deviations or non-conformities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper housekeeping of the laboratory.
• Assist in sample collection, preparation, and storage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the QA/QC department.

Requirements:

• HND / B.Sc. Degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Animal Science, Food Science & Technology, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a laboratory, quality assurance, or quality control role (feed mill or manufacturing experience is an added advantage).
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
