Job Description:
- We are looking for a dedicated and vision-driven Public Health Officer who is passionate about promoting healthier and more resilient communities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze public health trends.
- Develop and implement public health policies.
- Oversee public health education programs.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and organizations.
- Manage public health campaigns and initiatives.
- Conduct epidemiological research.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Provide expert advice on public health issues.
- Prepare for and respond to public health emergencies.
- Educate the public on disease prevention and healthy living.
- Collaborate with local, state, and federal health agencies.
- Assess community health needs.
- Supervise public health staff and volunteers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs.
Requirements:
- Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal health regulations.
- Experience in community outreach and education.
- Proficiency in using public health data management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software.
- Understanding of cultural competencies in public health.
Salary
