Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber and technically rigorous Project Engineer to serve as the primary technical anchor for our Project Management team. In the complex landscape of modern construction, success is defined by "Specification Fidelity", the ability to ensure that every on-site installation aligns perfectly with approved blueprints, building codes, and MEP requirements. This role is designed for a "Technical Orchestrator" with 7–10 years of experience who can blend "Engineering Precision" with the "Project Controls" required to manage RFIs, submittals, and master schedules.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Deviation Execution and Seamless Consultant Coordination." You will be the technical steward of the project: responsible for identifying architectural/structural discrepancies, maintaining high-fidelity "As-Built" documentation, and ensuring subcontractor compliance with safety and quality manuals. If you possess "Problem-Solving Mastery," proficiency in AutoCAD and Primavera P6, and the ability to read complex blueprints with surgical accuracy, we want you to drive our engineering excellence.

Requirements:

1. Technical Coordination & MEP Integration

• Blueprint Synchronization: Review and process shop drawings and submittals, identifying and resolving critical discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings before they impact the field.

• Design Fidelity: Conduct rigorous site inspections to verify that all physical installations match the original design intent and meet local building codes.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for solving complex on-site engineering challenges, ensuring that solutions are technically sound and documented.

2. Documentation & Information Governance

• RFI Stewardship: Manage the Request for Information (RFI) lifecycle, ensuring that consultants provide timely and accurate responses to prevent site delays and rework.

• As-Built Integrity: Maintain and update "As-Built" drawings in real-time, ensuring that the final Project O&M (Operations & Maintenance) manuals accurately reflect the finished asset.

• Software Mastery: Utilize Procore (or similar PM software) to maintain a centralized, "Single Source of Truth" for all project submittals, drawings, and technical logs.

3. Project Controls & Financial Assistance

• Schedule Orchestration: Assist in developing and updating the Project Master Schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project, tracking material lead times and subcontractor milestones.

• Commercial Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly progress valuations and variations, providing the technical data needed to track project costs against the established budget.

• Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure all subcontractors adhere to the company’s safety manual and quality assurance protocols, minimizing risk and institutional liability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.

• Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in on-site construction engineering or project coordination.

• Technical Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and project management platforms like Procore.

Core Competencies

• Blueprinting Grit: Advanced ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering blueprints.

• Communication Mastery: Excellent written and verbal skills for drafting technical reports and managing consultant relationships.

• Problem-Solving Prowess: A proven ability to identify structural or MEP clashes and propose viable engineering solutions.
